Update: Maggie is a very lucky girl because it's clear she wasn't in the puppy mill too long before she was rescued. She is perfectly comfortable as a family companion and is a great medium sized doggie buddy.


Maggie loves to lean into people and give soft kisses. She also loves to go for walks of course! She is fine in the car. In her temp foster home, she has made herself right at home on the sofa with her temp foster brother Hudson.


Maggie is 3-1/2 years old and weighs 38 lbs. She was rescued from a puppy mill but luckily she was not there long enough to have suffered the kind of trauma that requires long rehabilitation. She has infected ears and long nails but these are being taken care of. She has been put on a dental food and we are beginning her exercise and weight loss program :0) When she slims down she will weigh approximately 30-32 lbs so she is a regular size Beagle girl. She'll make a great companion for a family who likes to go for walks and cuddle on the sofa :0)
